| to those of you i haven't called back or e-mailed back in the past three weeks - first of all, i'm very sorry. but, quick update on mom... she's slowly improving every day and we're very thankful. there have been several ups and downs and three weeks in the hospital is a long time, but she continues to heal and improve and remain in good spirits. thank you for all the prayers, phone calls, e-mails... it means more than i can tell you...

| i know, i know - no pictures of the condo yet... hopefully i'll get to post some this week. it will probably be my farewell post - i think i'm done with xanga. too many websites to keep up with, and unfortunately this one seems the most "underutilized" of the three i have. i think i'm going through a minimizing or "spring cleaning" phase....

extreme makeover: home edition needs to hire my family. we got my entire condo cleaned, painted, and set up in a week

| i've learned this week that my dad is a master at painting... i'll be all happy about the little corner of the wall i finish then i look over and see he's done with an ENTIRE wall...  crazy.
plane tickets to arizona are not cheap - but no matter how much i have to spend, the trip will be more than worth it.
being put on hold for 40 minutes while trying to get the gas bill switched over to my name is one of my pet peeves.
i don't drink coffee, but i'm buying a coffee maker.
last week at this time, i was in houston, walking into my super nice hotel room, collapsing on the king sized bed i had all to myself... and realizing that it's true when they say "they do everything big in texas."
i still have a stupid "celebrity" crush on shane barnard. yes. i am a dork.
